Taken from UNHRC webcast:
MRAP (France):
“Despite the dozens of resolutions adopted by various UN bodies condemning the actions of the state of Israel, colonial occupation follows the destruction, massacres follow the abuses, and the international law is constantly trampled.”
FIDH, PCHR (Raji Sourani) (Norway, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, European Union):
“The smell of death and destruction [...]

The denial of Palestinian agency or culpability has been a long standing theme in NGO publications on the Arab-Israeli conflict. Examples include failing to hold Palestinian society responsible for electing a genocidal terror organization and the consequences that have resulted; ignoring Palestinian corruption, and minimizing the Palestinian choice to engage in violence to achieve political [...]

On August 6 2009, Human Rights Watch (HRW) belatedly released their report (“Rockets From Gaza”) on Hamas’ rocket barrages aimed at Israel’s civilian population. HRW accuses Hamas members of war crimes and acknowledges the “psychological toll of years of rocket attacks” on Israelis. This publication, which largely repeats the International Crisis Group’s report of April [...]

The long history of “Lawfare” use by NGOs is in jeopardy due to a change in Spanish universal jurisdiction laws. Pressure by foreign governments including Israel caused the move as NGOs respond with upset and claims that impunity will increase.
“Lawfare” has been a popular NGO tool for political campaigns against Israel since the first UN [...]

The Arab League’s “Fact Finding” Mission to Gaza presented a report of its findings and called for future lawfare against Israel. John Dugard, the notorious UN Rapporteur, led the team and the EU and European government funded PCHR “prepared the agenda for the mission and coordinated its meetings and field visits. It also provided technical [...]

Over the years, NGO Monitor has seen NGOs do some pretty crazy stuff with their EU and European government money (promoting slogans like, “We are all Hezbollah, we are all Hamas”; organizing campaigns “to expose the lies of AIPAC and the Anti-Defamation League and to expose the Jewish and Zionist community’s double standards”; and parroting [...]

A UN report accusing Israel of intentionally attacking UN buildings in Gaza strongly reflects the biases and lack of credibility of the NGO network during the Gaza fighting. As demonstrated in NGO Monitor’s comprehensive study, The NGO Front in the Gaza War: The Durban Strategy Continues, NGO reports exhibited double standards, focused overwhelmingly on condemning [...]

HRW’s Gaza Campaign: Advocacy not Accuracy, NGO Monitor, March 25, 2009
HRW’s record exhibits a strong anti-Israel bias. Its reporting in 2008 reflected the portrayal of Israel as the second worst abuser of human rights in the Middle East. Even before the renewal of the military conflict on December 27, 2008, HRW focused disproportionately on Gaza: [...]

Yesterday the Guardian printed NGO “war crimes” allegations as fact, saying that despite IDF refutations, “human rights organizations” had evidence to corroborate their claims. Yet, NGO Monitor analyses have revealed that Amnesty’s and HRW’s claims are often inacurrate, unsourced, revealing a readiness to manipulate “evidence” to match pre-determined ideological conclusions.
Guardian investigation uncovers evidence of alleged [...]

BNC (Palestinian National BDS Committee) has organized the Israel Review Conference to take place in Geneva from 18 - 19 April, two days before the United Nations’ Durban Review Conference under the slogan “United Against Apartheid, Colonialism and [...]
